Sam held a hand up carefully, looking as though he were merely trying to calm Jack down. "No, I didn't bring you here. I wouldn't know how even if I wanted to." Not that he would. Why would Sam possibly want to lure in a Space Patrol...whatever? What use would he have for a Space Control Whatever? This wasn't space. And this Jack guy certainly didn't look much like someone Sam would find terribly useful when it came down to what he was focused on the most at the moment, which was killing Lilith. Jack, the Space Control Whatever, could not help him kill Lilith. That was Sam's main priority; summoning in random people from multiple universes was not.
"I know about all of this because I've been dealing with it for the past several momths," Sam explained, rubbing at his neck. Going through with the explanation was starting to get a little old. Even so, Sam managed that completely honest and sympathetic face that he had managed to perfect over the years. "It's a long story, but you're not the only person out there that's been dragged to this city. To put it simply: you've officially been dragged here by some sort of messed up magic. That sounds bizarre and completely impossible, I know, but it's the truth."
