Jack wasn't really annoyed by Sam, he was irritated by the whole situation. But it wasn't like Sam could know that. So he sighed in frustration and flipped the device shut. It was black, white, and red and on the cover were the same letters. S.P.D. Tilting his head curiously as he watched him, he gave him a once over. He didn't look like a bad guy. Jack was the sort of person who acted on instinct and wore his heart on his sleeve. The second he decided that Sam wasn't a threat, it was obvious. The tension was gone and he realized how everything must have looked.
Giving sort of an exasperated half smile he held it out for him to see. It was a flat device rectangular in shape. But powerful. "You don't know S.P.D.?" This time it was Sam catching his attention. "Something like that." He nodded to the question. "More like a.." He paused to think of the 21st century equivalent. "What do you call it here?..Detective. I'm new, but I'm guessing that's kinda obvious." Shrugging. A hint of amusement written on his face. "Jack Landors. Space Patrol Delta." Snapping open the item again with a thin button at the top so Sam could see, he revealed a slender computer screen with all of his data and a badge. One similar to the police department, but with a dog in the center. Instead of L.A.P.D., S.P.D.. The year was different too. Instead of 2009 as the date, it read 2025 in small silver print.
