"I know," he said softly to her comment about the medbay. He didn't mind her being so close. It helped, actually. Maybe not physically, but mentally. It reminded him he wasn't alone. And right now? That was incredibly important. Probably more than anything else.
He nodded at her question, "Yeah, I'll be okay." He assured her. As okay as he could be, anyway. But he didn't want her to have to go get someone else so they could help him down to the medbay. He didn't want her to leave. He wasn't sure he could do it, that he could handle being alone right now, even if it was just for a short while.
