Thank goodness for small favors, that was all Svetlana could really think at the moment. Dealing with insolence and a refusal to accept something that was unrealistically obvious when stressing about whatever upcoming crisis was about to strike was not exactly something Svetlana wished to be doing at the time. So at least Joan seemed to be handling this as well as anyone could handle it who came from a world where things like magic and Lucifer and heaven and hell were just stories and ideas, but certainly not reality.
"No, it is not. Though perhaps that is also why it is so. Beyond the fact that the vessel he wishes to control is here, this is an unassuming location. No one would notice if things started to become different because it is not in the main stream of vision that people notice."
At least it made sense to Svetlana. But she was a strategist and always chose the unpredictable moves or the glaringly obvious moves that were so obvious they left those she played blindsided. Though hearing that Joan knew the musical just caused Svetlana to quirk a brow. It wasn't so hard to figure out that the woman now knew who she was. She wasn't freaking out about it, or making comment which was nice but still, it was bound to happen sooner or later.
"I see, well, I am Svetlana Sergievsky."
She knew who she was, might as well give her a name to go with it. But then there was the fact that something was coming and Joan wanted to get to safety, which really was a priority at the moment. As such, the Russian woman gave a slight nod.
"Of course. And it is not a problem. Everyone shows up here unexpectedly, it is better to explain things so that they do not get hurt in the process. But this way. There will be more information at the complex for you to look over as well." With that, Svetlana started to lead the other woman back to the complex. If necessary, she would just head back out once this whole welcome committee was done so that she had what she needed in case everyone ended up stuck in the complex.
