No. The threats for Svetlana had been very human in nature. People betraying others for no reason beyond a look. Anything different, from the 'West' considered treason. Promises broken, dreams shattered as she had always known they would be. The KGB watching every move, especially made by her. Perhaps it had started with Katya. Or perhaps it was once Molokov entered the picture. But Svetlana's life had always been monitored and she had to be aware of all threats possible in order to protect her daughters.
"Though just because we are from places where he is nothing more than a being in a book, that does not change the fact that here? He is quite real and quite a threat."
Especially now given the fact it seemed two people were having visions of something to come. Something dark, worse than the human threats of late.
Thankfully though, it seemed the other woman was picking up pretty quickly on what was going on. She probably thought it was all insanity, but she at least was following along about the different dimensions issue, that really was hard to grasp. Time jumps. Though she at least seemed to be from a more current time than Svetlana herself had been from when she had shown up. That she still had issues in terms of being used to it. Time, culture, even a year and a half here and she was still thrown by it all at times.
"But yes, that would be correct. An alternate dimension where he and demonic possessions are quite possible and real. Where people from popular culture can show up from worlds that are as real as the ones we are from."
For Svetlana didn't know where Joan was from, just that she was from one very similar to her own beyond being in the future.
