"So am I." Helena drew in a breath and took another drink of her tea, letting her mind linger over Irene for some moments. Steve was right not to press that battle. Helena steadfastly believed she would never have love. Love never worked out for her. Though might she have had a chance with Myka had she not betrayed her? It was difficult to say. Helena was obviously the one who was supposed to love silently from afar than to have an active role in it.
Helena nodded, relieved that Steve seemed to take this news well. In any other circumstance, Helena would have taken it well herself. But considering Moriarty had used it to torment her for months on end, Helena had a very distinct aversion to the show. She doubted she would ever watch it, especially knowing the Astrolabe had been used. "Yes, ignorance is most certainly bliss sometimes."
Taking another breath, she looked at him. "They never showed it on the show, I don't think. But from what I saw, and lived, there wasn't time for one as Sykes took me off to China to open the Sanctum." And again she glanced at the door. "And shortly after that, I died along with the Warehouse. Sykes' endgame was to destroy the Warehouse, so he planted an artifact nuclear bomb in it. The normal ways of neutralizing an artifact didn't work, but I managed to devise a way to save Myka, Pete and Artie from the blast, but I died. Which is the point in time I am from."
