Hearing the chuckle, Steve smiled a bit, glad it had brought about the desired effect. "Yeah. We were staking out an artifact that had been stolen, Typhoid Mary's knife as it switched injury or disease between whoever was holding it. We got to talking and it came up," he grinned. He looked down some. That was among some of his favorite memories of the times he and Claudia had spent together.
As Helena moved to speaking of her soul burning in Hell, the man smiled some. "See, I would have said that you'd probably have your cosmic energy reborn into like a cat or something," he said. "I'm a Buddhist," he added, unsure if she knew that fact about him already or not. "Which is not something easy to explain to Pete," he grinned.
Hearing that it was a blend by Svetlana, he nodded some. "She definitely knows her teas," he commented, sipping the brew again. He studied her.
