Ruby didn't know why she felt like she was going to be scolded by Granny for disappearing like that. Yes, Lawrence was ridiculously dangerous even in times of relative quiet. And she really hadn't been trying to run away for good. She knew that her friends were here, her family. But sometimes people just needed to be alone for a bit. The air would have done wonderfully if she hadn't gotten lost and then Dick seeming to realize she wasn't really in any condition to head back or be around people. Because people would want to talk. She loved the two, she did, but at the moment she had left? Talking was the last thing she had wanted.
But there was Ashley and Mary Margaret and the young woman shifted awkwardly. Really, she might as well be a teen trying to sneak back in. Graham even helping her as he always tried to make sure she didn't get yelled at by Granny for doing reckless things. Some things never change...
"See. Perfectly fine."
Well, physically. Emotionally was something else entirely but given the two had been convinced that Dick was holding her captive, or at least Mary Margaret seemed to be, she figured first thing to do was just state there and then that she was fine. But she didn't try to brush it off, that because she was fine, that they could stop worrying, that they could go about their day now. She knew them both too well for that. Or at least their Storybrooke counterparts.
And she knew that.. something had happened with Snow. Red had protected her. They were close. Closer than sisters if the image fragments could be trusted. Just like Ruby and Ashley were.
