He found that he wasn't very surprised by what the demon was saying. It had been well known, from the very start, that the demon Ruby had always carried ill intention. Selfish desires, bigger things rooted on top of those - who could possibly tell what it was, exactly? Yet every angel knew. Ruby, the demon, was no friend of the Winchesters. She was a threat. Not a big enough of a threat for them to go out of their way to smite down - no, in Uriel's eyes she came off as no more than an annoying little fly buzzing around his head - but it was rather obvious that she was no well-intentioned demon who had suddenly had a change of heart about her ways and where it was that she had come from. Not every demon in the universe would be a fan of Lucifer, Uriel had gathered that over the centuries, but Ruby had been an unknown factor in that regard. Uriel wasn't surprised to find that she was falling into category A rather than category B.
"So that's what you're doing with him, is it?" Uriel turned the sword over in his hands, flashing it around in a showy manner. "Getting him to the finish line." Uriel would have suggested that she were a good actress, but he didn't need to. Those boys were stupid. Anyone could get them to do what they wanted to if they pushed and prodded at them the right way.
"This?" Uriel briefly looked down at the sword and smiled. "This belonged to him, yes. It's quite useful. Really knows how to get the kill in - as you just witnessed, in fact. That is going to be a problem."
Uriel was tempted to reach forward and grab the tiny little body by it's throat. Tempted. Such was the nature of a demon. "I am no family of yours." He looked away, that smile melting away in a flash. "As for destroying you...it would only serve in our best interests at this time to keep you on the path. If you vow to keep your filthy mouth shut about all you've seen here."
