Gannicus had to admit it was more fun to flirt with someone when they flirted back. And Gaia was indeed doing just that. While he hadn't been too pleased at first with her and that other Roman when they had him lay with Melitta, it really had been the other Roman man who had insisted upon it. And really, Gannicus couldn't stay mad at a beautiful woman. Especially when she had offered him wine freely.
He laughed at her words. "Then we must share as much wine as we can stand. For wine and the company of beautiful women are the way to my heart," he returned. One thing Gannicus had learned with being a gladiator was that life was often short and he intended to enjoy as much of it as he could.
