To say that Paige was happy about Phoebe's arrival was an understatement. It had bee just two years ago that she realized that despite how much they both irritated her, how much she tended to miss her independence (less now that she was finding her own person amongst the unity that was being the youngest and a Charmed one), that she wasn't quite ready to be without her sisters. Because to not have them in her life was very odd. Too odd. Sure she adapted here. She was Paige. That was what she did. And she'd even made friends, which was easier to do without a destiny (and other added responsibilities) blocking that a lot of the times. And would you believe that she'd been named second in command? Not bad if she had to stay so herself.
Yet as much as she liked the people here, was adapting to a life here. Paige never stopped missing her sisters. Never stopped having the idea of home in the back of her mind. When she'd been pulled to this place, her family had needed just one more piece of hay to break the proverbial camel's back in the drama variety. With the elders investigating Leo. Drake's time running out. Not to mention her leaving magic school without a Headmistress. Those worries were there. And while she knew that her sisters would pick up the slack-something she didn't want-it didn't stop her from worrying.
It would seem that she would continue worrying, seeing as Phoebe was about a year ahead of her. A time before they'd realized Gideon's betrayal and their older nephew from the future was still alive. Paige didn't know how she would tell her. She didn't know if she should tell her. However, those were thoughts for another time. She wouldn't let them mar her happiness, and she'd ... worry some more later. At this rate she was going to turn into Piper.
Orbing into a near by alleyway, recalling the street corner, Paige walked out, spotting her sister easily. That pixie cut. It'd been very cute on her sister. ... Still was. Smile on her face, she called out, "Phoebe!" To announce her arrival. When she reached her she said, "I thought that monkey put a stop on that habit of constantly fiddling with your phone." She teased, bringing up a situation that had been two years ago for Paige but just a year or so for Phoebe. Where pesky monkey totem brought to life had taken away their senses.
