Lois ran a hand through her hair. "They are, yeah. They're not where I'm taking you for the night, though I can hook you up with them in the morning. I'm not sure if they're asleep at this point at night." Funny how it was nearing midnight, especially if Ella turned out to be the fairy tale character Lois had a feeling she was.
"I can answer all of your questions once we make it to the Complex though. And get you both out of the cold and into a room and probably some clothes." She wasn't sure about the likelihood of baby clothes but surely there had to be some considering this place did throw kids in it every so often. It wasn't much of an explanation at that point, but maybe it would be enough to start with.
