Ella all but swiveled her head toward Lois, despite the other woman's attempt to not startle her. She swallowed and attempted to calm her beating heart again. Elle hadn't expected anyone to approach her, she'd been more intent on figuring out how to get to some place warm, before finding someone who could at least tell her where she was.
She eyed the other woman uncertainly. The question was certainly direct but Ella couldn't honestly say that she didn't appreciate it. A few beats, however, passed while Ella took in the brunette. She was cautious because saying 'yes' would make her sound crazy. Yet what about this wasn't out there? In fact, while the question was straightforward it was ... odd. "Y-yeah." Ella started, finding her voice and her bearings. "I was ... it happened all so quickly." She said instead, her voice growing stronger.
