"I guess. I don't know." Snow had to admit, coming into the middle of a disaster was a lot harder than being there at the beginning of one. Though the lack of guilt was a nice change. She could live with a refreshing lack of guilt. It had plagued her in Storybrooke and for a moment she had thought perhaps things would fall into place, but that simply wasn't to be.
Life happened. Snow was no distant stranger to that idiom. Things changed, people moved on and sometimes you got sucked into a dimension where the apocalypse was occurring and the forces of good decided Kansas was a good place to amass a fighting force.
There had to be some irony in that that Snow was missing out on, but the starkness of the city lent to the feel of impending doom.
She missed James.
She missed him desperately. He always knew how to make her smile. Even sardonically. Frankly, she could use even a wry smile at this point.
