From the moment she had read Mary Margaret, no Snow's, message Regina knew that her mood was going to be on edge. She had hoped that she'd be composed enough when she would meet with Gaia to discuss living arrangements. Now that seemed like it was not going to be an option. She had no doubts that meeting with her stepdaughter was going to be a trying occasion. Refusing hadn't been an option. Not that Snow had given her much choice. Reluctantly she had accepted the demand to meet at the University.
After acquiring directions Regina left the motel that she had spent the night at and began walking towards the University. The amulet that Belle had given her resting around her neck. As she walked she kept her head down lest someone decided to stop her along the way. It was enough that she was being forced to have a meeting with Snow, but to deal with someone else who had an issue with her would cause her temper to rise. She had made a promise to Henry that she would cause no harm to come upon anyone in town. Not that she even had the ability to do so. Her magic while flowing through her body was still not manifesting on the surface when she called to it. But as she sat in her room the night before she realized that she had nothing. Here, Henry was under the sole guardianship of his birth mother and Regina had no doubt that she'd never be able to see him. She had lost everything that mattered to her and for the first time she just wanted it all to end. Enacting the curse had only brought her some happiness but a void still rested in her soul. It would be a hard road but in order to survive in this place she would have to let go of the past. A feat that would be hard to follow through with and one she had failed at so many times before.
As she approached the University she saw Snow standing off to the side waiting for her. Sighing she continued until she was stood a good distance away but not far enough that Snow wouldn't know it was her. "Well, dear, here I am. Say what you have to say."
