Hood arrived and Guy couldn't help but be amused at the comment. "Just curious to see if you'd drink it, in the interests of our truce and all." he replied, watching the other man curiously. It was a rather interesting meeting after all and more than anything he'd been surprised at the offer of drinks. But the Roadhouse was a neutral enough place and neither of them were carrying obvious weapons though Gisbourne knew his old foe well enough to know he'd be carrying something as much as Hood would know he was. Trust was fine and everything but they had found themselves in rather dangerous times.
"The class went well by the way. You can say what you like about my skill with a bow, but I do alright, better than most of them at any rate. I think the general consensus is that you're a nicer instructor. But I didn't sign up to be nice now did I?"
How did one make small talk with their former enemy, the one who'd stolen back the love of his life. There was so much still between the two men that had gone unsaid and probably always would for the sake of this truce. For Marian's sake more than anything else.
"So how do you see this truce working, while we're on the subject of cooperation. We had a common foe at home, in Vaisey and my sister. Here I suppose it could be said we still have that common enemy. Just one neither of us could have expected."
