Draco & Scorpious Monday, late night, October 1, 2012/Tuesday, early morning, October 2, 2012 Draco's room at Darcy A.'s house Awkward tiemz and talking between not-yet!dad and future!son. PGish?/In Progress
Draco had taken Darcy up on her offer when she had extended it to him, despite any reservations he had about the idea of living with Muggles, for a multitude of reasons. Primarily, the idea of going from the Manor he was used to living in, to living in flat was less than appealing. Darcy's accommodations at least included an actual house. And a rather large one at that, which he hadn't entirely expected, but it was a rather nice surprise in itself. Despite not knowing him yet, Draco had also considered the fact that the boy that was apparently his son lived with the woman. Family was always one of the most important things to uphold in the Malfoy household and the idea of leaving Scorpius there while he was elsewhere just didn't make sense to him. Even if Draco didn't know him, he would eventually.
He had thanked Darcy countless times for her invitation. Considering the risk she had taken by even inviting him, and knowing that she was fully aware of that risk, he couldn't fathom the fact that she had even made the offer in the first place. Denying it seemed foolish and despite her obvious objections to it, Draco insisted he would repay her somehow one day.
Now, he was about as settled as he would get at the moment in the room that Darcy had provided for him as he waited for Scorpius to arrive back from camp. Draco had told him he wanted to speak with him and that he could simply come find him because he was certain to be awake, no matter the hour. However, now as time drew on, he realized he wasn't entirely sure what he would say when Scorpius came to speak with him. What do you say to a son you haven't met yet? Draco wasn't sure, but he supposed he would be finding out very soon.
