He smiled and watched her as she left. He sighed and shoved a hand through his hair as the door shut behind her. He wasn't really sure how he was keeping it so together. but he was glad he wasn't in exactly the same frame of mind as he had been the night... he didn't let himself finish that thought, shaking his head to clear his thoughts.
Peter slid off the counter and checked on the sauce she'd left him in charge of, stirring it before he leaned against the counter. He wasn't sure where else the night might go at this point, but for now, he was just trying not to think of anything at all.
"Welcome back," he smiled slightly as she entered the kitchen again. "No mishaps or anything in your absence." he chuckled.
