"How could I do that when, despite the other things you were supposed to be doing, and despite my previous protests, you were here for me?" he shook his head. "It'd be stupid to turn you away."
Peter wasn't sure how, but somehow, the simple fact of her being here made things at least a little easier to deal with. He knew, logically, he wasn't alone. He wasn't the only one losing the ghost of someone they cared about and didn't want to lose again. But the others? They weren't here, standing with him, trying o comfort and distract him. Enigma was and that meant a lot to him in that moment.
