Peter was in not state to deal with people right now, so the knock at his door was hardly a welcome thing. However, he wasn't quite assertive enough to tell whoever happened to be on the other side of that door to just go away, so he pushed himself up from his spot on he couch and walked over to answer the door.
He opened the door, just a small crack at first as he tried to see who was disturbing him. Annoyance quickly dissolved into shock and the door was thrown open the rest of the way, "E-Enigma? Wh...what are you doing here? You're supposed to be at camp, I, I told you, you don't have to do this..." Peter wasn't ungrateful for the company, not by a longshot, he just didn't understand why she felt he need to disregard her own goings-on for his own.
