"Yes, I would definitely approve of him going back to wherever he had been before as well."
Dead or not, she really didn't want to keep dealing with Chauvelin's ghost. Because she didn't have the energy to keeping dealing with him. True, what he'd been using against her wouldn't work anymore as she now knew that Percy was indeed alive and there, but the times he managed to catch her unaware, the other taunts, reminders... well, she could do without those. Conflicted or no, he had long stopped being a friend and she didn't want to see him again. It was just that death was permanent.
And he took her point. Which was good, because really, Marguerite was not above pointing things out to Percy if she thought he was being ridiculous. Which.. well, at least now she had a feeling he might listen as opposed to continue on, hurting her with the lie their lives had been. Hurting himself as well, now that she knew what had been going on, that he had never stopped loving her as she had been so convinced of.
Then there was the question, of how often things like this happened. And how did she answer that? She hadn't been here nearly as long as others, but she had seen a fair amount of things.
"I have been here for about three months now and while this was the first time something more supernatural has affected me, I have seen other things and things people have said in regards to the ghosts made her think it wasn't uncommon.
