"Yes, they are," Clark verified, nodding once more. "Funnily enough, some of the witches and wizards that we have around here - well, they're not really from around here. Kind of like you. I can't remember if anyone went over the fictional character theory with you yet." Clark laughed a little nervously. That was always an awkward thing for him to bring up, being that he supposedly was one in this universe. Alternate universes? Were weird. Very weird.
She appeared to be rather agreeable about the idea of letting him run her back to the apartments, so Clark stepped in a little closer. Not too close, but close enough so that he could lift her when she was ready. "Let me know when you're okay to go," he told her, trying for a friendly smile. This would likely be a little disorienting for her and he didn't want to rush it.
