It worried Clark, knowing that there was someone out there on their own. Not just someone; someone new. Someone that Lilith and all of the rest of her demon lackeys would be eager to get their hands on. It was bad enough for the people who were housed within the apartments, but to think that someone else out there - someone who had no idea how to fend off the demons of this world - happened to be wandering the streets alone made Clark more than determined to get out there as quickly as he could. Fortunately, someone like himself had no trouble with getting from one location to the other in a timely manner. Superspeed? Yep, it definitely had it's perks.
The red and blue blur sweeping through the city fell to a halt a few paces away from where the woman on the boards had instructed him to meet her. The street, for the most part, seemed to be fairly quiet. Clark couldn't decide if that was a good or a bad thing. Good, because that meant that there wasn't going to be a bunch of people around cluttering Clark and the person he approached; it was, after all, likely that she had a lot of questions. The bad, on the other hand, was turning out to be rather obvious. People were very easily attacked when they were out on their own. Dark city, lost girl. Clark had seen it happen one too many times for him to avoid being concerned about the entire situation.
That was exactly why, when he spotted the only female within walking distance, he approached her with his hands out in the open. They were swinging loosely at his side, indicating that he clearly had no weapon to threaten her with. As he had been quick enough to evade being seen by coming to a halt behind the cover of a car, the blonde woman had nothing to be suspicious of.
...aside from the usual brand of crazy that people faced in situations like this one, that was.
