That look in his eyes worried her. It always had. Always would she supposed, that part of him, that darkness she didn't know what to make of but then what did she expect for loving the Dark One. And she didn't deny it. Oh she'd tried for a while, decided it was only because he'd been the only person she'd seen for so long but no. Love had found her in the most unlikely of places and she only wished she'd been able to get through to him back in their world. Because Storybrook, well it had never been a home to her like it seemed it had for the others.
Locked away because obviously Regina could not have her seeing 'Mr Gold'. Or of course him seeing her, not that they would have remembered by the sound of things, but how did he remember? She made a mental note to ask him at some point but for now she could only see the smoke. Purple and full of magic. She could feel it even if she couldn't use it. It was part of her, part of all of them and he'd unleashed it. Is that why she could remember now?
She closed her eyes against it, moving to grab at the arm of her love but she couldn't find it. Couldn't find him.
"...Hello?" she said hesitantly as the smoke cleared from her vision. But she wasn't in the forest anymore, and she couldn't see Storybrook.
Where was she?
Where was he?
"Rumplestilskin?!" she called, worried, terrified and needing him to tell her precisely what he'd done. He'd answer her, he always answered her. He'd find her. Until then she'd get her own answers. It didn't take her long to discover she wasn't the only one here in this predicament. Probably the only one to look like she'd escaped from a hospital and calling for a fairytale. But that was her life...thanks Regina she supposed. She'd find her answers.
