"You are?" She blinked, looking over towards him at his words, then smiled a little. "Thank you, Bruce. I think we'd both feel better with you doing it rather than a stranger." And though it meant a third person would know about the second tattoo the two of them were going...Natasha was actually alright with that. She trusted Bruce and knew that he would respect their wishes, and not mention it to the others, particularly Tony. Stark would never stop teasing them if he knew.
At his words about the second test, Natasha's hand froze, and the paper slowly fluttered back to the table while she struggled to ignore Inna's "I told you so." Finally, she gave a faint nod, keeping her back to Bruce as she closed her eyes briefly. "It's...not a surprise. I had a feeling that I'd be...sterile. After all, the Red Room would hardly want an assassin of theirs laid up for nine months." Reopening her eyes, she fought down her emotions while trying to not think about how she'd break this to Clint. Or when. After another few minutes, Natasha squared her shoulders, then turned to face Bruce.
"Thank you for testing me." Her shoulders lifted simply in a small shrug. "It is a loss I don't feel - after all, it could be that I never was able to ha...bear a child, and their serum only made doubly sure. As for you, I'm sorry that you're the same, Bruce."
