Enigma pulled down her shorts before turning to look at Chris as she stood on the edge of one of the block of the pyramid they were climbing, grinning at him. “Come on,slow poke!” she teased, before nimbly scrambling up another of the large blocks, hissing as she scraped her leg, pulling her scarf out of her hair to staunch the blood, ignoring the mass of hair that tumbled down after, figuring she could pin it up later.

“Okay, so not fair,” she muttered, sitting on the block she had been climbing and mopping up the blood with the long tail of the scarf, waiting for Chris to catch up with her. While she did, she raised her head, looking out over the desert...ignoring the fast food restaurants and other building that had sprung up around the buildings, blocking them from her view as she stared off into the distance.

A hot breeze whipped her hair around her face and she closed her eyes, turning her head into the dusty wind, smiling more. She had never been this happy, and it was all thanks to the beautiful, wonderful man with her.

She could so easily fall for him if she let herself.

Chris rolled his eyes as he finally caught up to the little imp. For someone so damn hot, she was also kind of a pain in his ass. One day he'd figure out the attraction. Hell, maybe that was why. Because she was just as annoying as he knew he could be.

"You know, if you'd slow down, shit like that wouldn't happen, don't you?" he challenged, arriving at her side. "And, you know, if you hadn't been quite so hasty, your scarf wouldn't be stained."

Not that he was all that good at healing yet. If it had been Mel who'd arrived in Lawrence nearly dead and not the other way around, he wasn't sure he could've saved her. But minor scrapes he could manage. If he weren't so damn proud, he'd get Wyatt to teach him more. Instead, he'd keep learning himself. It was how he'd picked up the majority of his magic, after all.

Bending, he raised his hand over her leg and focused all of his energy. The familiar tingling began coursing through him and finally the lights that showed his whitelighter said appeared, doing their magic.

And then he heard Piper, scolding him for using his magic so openly where anyone could see him. He turned and gave her an annoyed look before looking back at Enigma. "Better?" he asked, hesitating. He probably should've asked permission first. But easier to ask forgiveness than permission, right?

“Yes, but if I slowed down, I wouldn't be faster then you,” she teased, looking at him from under her lashes. She watched as he healed her, a smile curling over her lips at the sight of the magic, the tingle of it against her skin incredible. “That is amazing,” she said, still unused to the sight, but more then willing to see it a million more times...

...though, perhaps not on a wound on her own body.

“It's perfect...just like new.” She leaned into him, kissing his cheek softly, before using a clean portion of her scarf to carefully wipe off the blue lipstick print. “Thank you, Chris,” she said softly, staring up into his eyes.

She then remembered his ghost and bit her lip, looking away, blushing slightly. She had never met Piper...probably would never get the chance, but she doubted the woman would want to watch her son's...friend make googly eyes at him. “She's still here isn't she?” Enigma asked, tilting her head, looking towards where Chris shot an annoyed look, before looking back at him. Enigma was almost tempted to ask Chris if there was anywhere his mother wanted to go, but wondered if that would be too weird.

She wasn't angry at him healing her. In fact, she sounded fascinated. That was a nice change. People didn't get impressed with Chris' magic. Wyatt had always been so much more powerful that the other witches at home never bothered to blink at his. And living among the Charmed Ones certainly made him look pitiful in comparison. And in Lawrence? There were at least a dozen people with powers just as good or more so than his, if Elphaba's meeting proved anything.

Then she was asking about Piper. "Yeeeah..." he admitted, groaning a little. "Sorry. I thought leaving Lawrence might shake her." Not that he wasn't happy to see his mom. He just knew it was going to hurt like hell losing her again. It would technically be the third time for him. And he wasn't looking forward to it.

Though he really could have done without the running commentary on his love life. Or the way he lived his life in general. "Apparently she thinks I'm still 13." Which was pretty dead on for his version of Piper, actually. Though she claimed to have been watching him grow up. Which was both comforting and disturbing, given the life he'd led.

'It's alright,” she said with a grin, resting her head against his shoulder, taking liberties with his body as she stared out at the desert. “let me guess...she doesn't like me?” she asked softly, not looking at Chris, but only imagining what someone like Piper Halliwell would have thought of her. Enigma had a suspicion that it was nothing good.

She raised an eyebrow as shouting reached her and she looked down at the guards they had paid off to climb, realizing their time limit was up. “Uh oh, I think the head boss guard is coming...maybe we should check out some of those markets before they decide to give us a lecture on safety and protecting national treasures...” she said, giggling. Their actions hadn't been illegal, just 'frowned upon', and it had always been Enigma's dream.

“Come on, you can watch me try on a million new gauze shirts and pretend you're not staring at my breasts,” she teased, giving him an 'I did not just say that' look. Their relationship status might be officially 'complicated', but that didn't mean she wasn't going to stop flirting outrageously with him...even if it was too bloody hot to think anything too perverted without turning into a sweat puddle.
