"Mm, please," she said, flagging down the waitress again, ordering another slice of pie and a hot chocolate this time, grinning at him. "I'm running up your tab," she said with a grin, resting her chin in her hand. "A girl could get used to be spoiled rotten."
She drained the last of her coffee, stretching out her legs and arms as she waited for her pie refill, studying him again. "You, Damon Salvatore, are a very hard man to read," she said, smiling at him. "Usually I can get something out of watching someone, but I get conflicting ideas from you. It intrigues me."
