She smirked a little at that one, knowing it was the stupidest thing in the world to have a phobia of...or at least it used to be, in a reality where vampires didn't exist. Here...possibly not so much.
“Ah, I know. I'm anemic. Sickle cell anemia, I've had it...rather obviously, since I was born, but no one knows where it came from. As far as anyone knows, neither of my parents have it.” she said with a shrug, looking up at him. “Treatable, but aggravating, especially in a place like this.”
Especially since she had to...relieve pharmacies of the medications she needed, rather then just picking them up.
