Kon hadn't sent Krypto so much to protect Lois even though he knew the dog was fully capable, he had sent her to do just that. Keep her company while Clark was with him. He knew she'd gotten used to Clark being around too, and he knew how he felt when Clark was otherwise preoccupied or busy away with the Justice League or work of some kind etc. He didn't want to do that to Lois if he didn't have to. The kid was often smarter then he let on, at least when it came to people. As far as book smarts went, what you saw was pretty much what you got.
"Technically I can do it all the time, but I try not too. I don't want to. It creeps me out sometimes." He said with a shrug and knelt down by Krypto as the dog came back to him and scratched behind his ears. Krypto was such an attention whore it caused him to roll his eyes. "Allana's dog likes him you know. She acts like she doesn't be she does. She gets all sad when he's not around." He kind of missed the complex, or at least his own girlfriend. Who he really should tell Lois the story of meeting. Theirs was probably just as bad as any attempts Clark had made to cue Lois in.
He nodded. "When I get that angry sometimes it's literally hard to see." He looked to the side, not making eye contact with her for a moment. "Sorry you had to see that..I..should have had more control." Clark had told him that anyway but Kon wasn't sure he was able to. When it happened it'd felt like every fiber in his body was wired to destruct. Who could be expected to fight that? Then she was being jokey again and he offered her a small smile. "Yeah..I guess it's one clone advantage." he grinned a little more. "Oh is that all?"a feigned look of hopelessness crept into his face as he sat on the floor with Krypto and the dog sat eagerly beside him.
