“I know you both wouldn’t,” she assured with another smile, before focusing her attention on the dog for a few moments. Lois had been grateful for his presence while Kon and Clark were both up in the Fortress and she had been back in Kansas. Krypto had helped her feel useful and connected to them at the same time.
“I think it would only be creepy if you were doing it all the time.” She looked back up at Kon, studying him carefully. Hopefully neither of them did do that all the time, even if in a vague way it was nice to know someone was always making sure someone was alive. Lois was just not going to think too deeply on any of that at the moment and focus on the rest of what Kon was saying.
“See straight again?” She wasn’t sure exactly what that meant. Maybe it had to do with how his eyes had seemed red back when she had been forced to subdue him all those weeks ago. “Really? No wonder the two of you keep in such great shape. Which also so unfair. Now I see how you can eat all that cereal and still fit into the same jeans.” Not that Lois had much of a problem with that considering she worked out every day and was more often than not running from criminals, but still! “And don’t worry about school work, I got it so all you have to do is a few things to make up for all the time you missed. Science experiment, one book report, and unfortunately for math you’ll probably need some tutoring help just to catch up, but the others should be a breeze.”
