Most people underestimated how huge the Fortress really was. Sure he'd given Lois shit about getting lost in it, but it really was pretty easy to do in reality. Kon just liked picking on Lois. It meant she was officially accepted. She was getting slack from both Kents not just one. Kon hadn't shut down and shut her out yet, so she was all right in his eyes. Looking up at the third party that joined them, he nodded. "Bet you can drown in it." The expressions on his face these days were lighter then they had been before when Kal first showed up. It seemed as though there was a lot less weight on his shoulders.
Wiping some of the slobber off his face he stood up and Krypto stood with him. The dog generally followed him everywhere when he wasn't in school. Even when he was Krypto anxiously waited at home, or went to play with Lois. The two were inseparable otherwise. Kon just wished occasionally Krypto listened to him. "Kinda far from the living area aren't you?" He wondered just how much exploring Lois had done.
Brushing a hand through his dark hair he folded his arms as Krypto made his way toward the reporter to rub against her legs for attention. "He's spoiled." Kon said as he made a face.
