Peace and quiet was never a thing Iolaus was good at dealing with. Whenever it was peaceful he tended to attract more trouble somehow. Usually his intentions were good, but trouble seemed to love him. So far he'd gone so long without attracting any and he was actually a little worried about what was coming more then he let on. "Yeah and it was just you and me." He missed those days, it showed on his face. He was a little unhappy that they couldn't just be who they were without someone else interfering. Whether it was one of the apocalypse fighters, or the modern world. Something got in the way. Livia tried to warn him things weren't going to be the same, but he still went back to see Hercules again. Even after he knew his friend was still talking to that woman named Gaia.
The modern world was confusing to Iolaus at best. He'd picked up on the language easy enough save for the one vampire who kept telling him h e talked like a 'Valley Girl' whatever that meant. He had no idea what a valley girl was and had no intention of finding out either. So he just tried to be himself, but he was finding it much more difficult then he thought. Things were more complicated then he ever imagined them to be at first glance. He always tried to be optimistic about it but sometimes it was hard. Today was one of those harder days.
"I don't care." He stated with a wave of his hand and folded his arms awkwardly. "I guess they might.." He said as he motioned to some of the people walking past them with a nod and raised an eyebrow. "That look can't be comfortable." He commented as he looked Hercules up and down. "Where are you supposed to wear a sword?" Iolaus reached out to tug at Hercules shirt curiously, searching for loops or sword frogs and found nothing.
