Hercules chuckled some. "Well the head slicing wasn't working and we needed the fire from the torch on the altar to the gods. And we still managed to beat it," he said. Hercules walked with his best friend since childhood and shrugged. "Sometimes I do. At least back home in our own time we knew what we were up against more or less." But Iolaus was right. Hercules did like the quiet and peace. But here he knew it was only a matter of time before this Lucifer or someone else stirred up trouble. The someone else of course being his brother. He had no doubt Ares was planning something. And while Hercules could make a big show and prod his brother into a fight, he didn't want it to end with Lawrence being leveled.
Hercules nodded and walked with his friend. He had adapted a bit better than Iolaus had and had taken to wearing loose jeans and sleeveless shirts. Even the boots he currently wore were modern. But, whenever it came down to him wandering around to see what trouble was happening, he always wore his normal clothes from home.
The taller man glanced down at his friend and chuckled some. "You're going to wear those out if you keep wearing them all the time," he said. It wouldn't do to have his best friend suddenly without clothes after all. Not like Hercules cared given the time they came from but in this modern age, walking around in the buff was looked down on and he at least hoped that Iolaus had some more modern clothes to fall back on.
