"That is most certainly the truth of the matter." Helena smiled warmly. It was difficult for her to contain her enthusiasm in such regards, so she knew how that could be. But sometimes she was able to contain it if she managed to head it off at the pass. Or if someone else helped her reel it in before it got out of control. Though more often than not, Helena could lose herself within the excitement of talking about her projects and inventions. Pride and ego were definitely two of her largest pitfalls at times.
The fact that she'd squeaked not once, but twice inwardly mortified at herself, but there wasn't anything she could do about it now. She was, however, glad that Robin didn't vocally say anything about her squeaking. It was most unladylike and a little out of character for her. However, she quickly refocused her attention on his question. "I've written on different subjects. One of my books focused on time travel, another genetic experimentation. I also wrote about an alien invasion of Earth. So, truthfully, there are different topics, but all covering areas I have interest in."
Nodding, Helena smiled and gave him the overview of the available drinks. She gave a description that would allow him to better picture what he would and wouldn't like. Thankfully, the cafe had quite the selection, so there was bound to be something he'd enjoy, regardless of what his tastes were. When she finished, she looked at him. "Have I thoroughly lost you?" There was a playful smirk on her face at the question.
