Why did it have to be him. Of all the people the seal could have thrown in his face, why Superboy Prime? Kon had never been so angry in his life. No, there was something else there that he couldn't quite wrap his mind around. Something else that nagged at him like a hang nail. He'd been told to medicate when he felt angry, he was told so many different things but he couldn't remember a single damn one of them in that moment. All he saw was red. Rubbing his eyes in attempt to make sure that it wasn't Luthor tap tap tapping at the back of his mind, he shook his head and paced.
What had he done to deserve this? He was doing better these days. At least he thought he was. He wasn't raging earth quakes or threatening to hurt anyone, though the thought had crossed his mind briefly when Prim invited that wannabe into the Complex. It took a lot of will power to remind himself that she hadn't known any better. It wasn't her fault and she was just trying to help a new kid. A new kid that'd killed him. Brutally. He remembered it clear as day ever since Bart had told him what really happened when he died. He remembered it in vivid detail and it still kept him up at night.
His eyes burned with anger, how could she? How could she not even think about asking how he felt. None of them did. He had feelings too. Sometimes he wished he didn't. He wished things could be like they were when Tim found him and broke him out of Cadmus Labs. He didn't even have a name then much less understand the way human emotion worked. Even now he was never sure if he did or not entirely. He learned everything by watching. The only thing that came natural to him was anger. Right now it was running through his veins like lava. Even his eyes couldn't hide the emotion, they were red like the flame of a fire.
