The lightning was powerful. Not the worst he could do but a good way to get Luke out of his way. He would not make the mistake of letting Luke get into his head. He would not allow the Jedi Master to trick him with talk of reforming. He hadn't tried back home, why would he try here. No, Caedus would fight Luke with everything he had and then he would kill him, and Mara too. Tenel Ka he would reeducate. She deserved that from him at least.
And they would both take Allana in hand. Perhaps if he could wish for some Vong bio tech. He could change things here. He could win the war for him and his. The rest would submit to his rule or they would die, it was simple as that. Either way you looked at it though. Caedus would win.
Or would he. The attack from Luke, if one could call it an attack, came quickly. So quickly that Caedus had not seen it coming. He'd expected Luke to fight back against the lighting yes. But not this. Not like this, how was he doing this? There was no power in the Light Side that could defeat a Sith of his power and yet... He believed in Jacen did he? Well Caedus would make sure that his belief would turn back on him somehow. On all of them. they deserved nothing more than that. But then there was so much light. The Sith found himself frozen for a moment with it before it seemed to push down on him, pulsing through him. The Dark and the Light fighting within him until he slumped to the floor, the energy expended in the battle pushing him into blessed unconsciousness.
