Who: Chloe Sullivan and Oliver Queen What: Avoiding awkward conversations and pretending to work When: Sunday Night Where: Watchtower Warnings: Massive amounts of denial? I'm sure there'll be some angst in there eventually. Status: Complete
Chloe was pleasantly surprised that despite the kiss, or almost kiss, or whatever that had been, she and Oliver had managed to talk normally. She wasn't sure if that was a good or a bad thing considering the fact that she hadn't been able to stop thinking about it since he left the other morning, but she was glad the awkwardness wasn't too bad.
She still planned on talking to him about everything and telling him what she knew, but she'd have to see if they were ready to talk about it tonight, or if she should wait a little bit longer. Besides, figuring out work issues was definitely more important since a small failure at work could mean lost lives.
Regardless, it was nice to be out of Watchtower for a little bit, even if it was just outside. Now that they were living there, she really didn't have a reason to go anywhere else, unless she was low on coffee.
Chloe stepped outside the front steps of the building and took a deep breath, looking up at the sky. It was way warmer than she'd have liked, but at least, it didn't smell anymore.
