The largest difference between Kansas and Cali, ironically enough, was that here, there were a lot more people involved. You would think that it would lead to things being taken care of a lot quicker, but, really, that didn't seem to be the case. Too many cats after the same canary, really.

Once they were both settled on the couch, though he was maybe just a tad bit further away then she would have liked, Lilah settled against the comfortable cushions and shifted so that she faced him. As it is, they can't see that they'll probably lose. They're too busy sniping at each other to even think about their ultimate foe, really."
