Once he was inside her apartment, Lilah shifted to reach past him and press the door shut, then slide the chain back across before also turning the deadbolt to lock that as well. After that was done, she glanced sideways at him at the compliment, then gave him a small smile. "I know." Because she always made it a point to look lovely. And he'd never once said she hadn't, even when she'd been in the middle of being skewered by Cordelia's Beast and he'd rescued her....which was still something of a surprise, as that was after their 'breakup'.
Turning, she walked back to where she'd left her DOF glass and picked it up, draining the contents. Moving towards a small bar in the counter, she tossed a question over her shoulder as she moved behind it. "Drink? I'm fairly certain I have your favorite poison here." In fact, she knew she had because she'd thought of him while in the liquor store and had deliberately picked it up...but only because it seemed strange to not have it in her collection, of course. There was no other reason. It wasn't as though it was there to remind her of him, because that was ridiculous.
Adding a few cubes to her own glass and pouring herself another double whiskey, hazel eyes, a swirl of undefinable colors, lifted and studied him from across the room, waiting for a reply.
