He kept quiet on that and smiled, poking her a bit. She was a lively one and a good person and he was glad to see her smile.
"Your ego could use a little stroking, in a healthy way. The right sort of stroking is imperative in these sorts of situations, or else things go disastrously wrong." His lips quirked as he nodded, otherwise serious-faced. Entendres could be fun. Sometimes.
"You deserve happiness, Helena, and it'll come, in time. It doesn't cancel out the darkness, but it does stop it from being always utterly overwhelming. It does change the feel of it, and the feel of what life is about." He smiled softly, eyes warm. "There will be losses, and there will be pain, but you will get through them, because you have these memories, and these days to remember."
He chuckled at her question. "I've been told size does matter."
