Who:Dean and Jules
What:Jules is unhappy and wants to talk. Dean is paranoid.
When:backdated a bit!
Where:Deans place
Warnings:Unknooooooooooowwwwnnnnnnnn

Jules knew Dean had issues talking about relationships. But really she was unhappy. It was unhealthy to be unhappy and keep it to herself as long as she had. It'd really started to just depress her. Juliet wasn't the depressed sort, she didn't like hiding away from people she considered friends or turning down fun outtings. It wasn't fair. It wasn't entirely Dean's fault but part of it was. The part where she couldn't even be around alcohol without feeling horribly awkward and uncomfortable was his fault. She used to feel safe around him, but when he drank she found herself feeling entirely the opposite lately. Whether it be happy drunk or sad drunk she couldn't take the drinking and it left her with a bad taste in her mouth regarding the whole thing.

She knew Dean was probably internalizing and freaking out, but she couldn't walk on eggshells anymore. That wasn't how a relationship worked. One didn't just ignore the issues, or they would most definitely become worse over time. She could already feel it. She wanted to fix them, wanted to feel as good with him as she used to but she wasn't sure it was possible. She knew he'd gone through things in hell, but she felt like she was in hell at times watching him put himself through that kind of coping method. It wasn't supposed to be like this. When she first fell for him he made her feel safe, there was no place she would rather be than by his side. Lately she felt that drifting away and it scared her.

She knocked at his door and let herself in. Blue eyes searching for him. "Dean?" She brushed some of her hair from her eyes and sighed quietly. Putting her hands in her pockets she waited against his kitchen counter.

Dean was not entirely sure what was happening. Well, that wasn't entirely true - he had a fairly solid assumption about what was about to happen, but he didn't understand why. Sure, things had been a bit off, lately, but he hadn't actually done anything, had he? He didn't think he had, not for a while. The last time he'd upset her, as far as he knew, was Andy's Birthday party thing... Which, okay, they still hadn't really talked about, so maybe she was just more upset about it than he'd realized.

Maybe she was just done.

He didn't really know how to do relationships - hell, the fact this had lasted as long as it had was a shocking accomplishment. He should just be glad it had worked for as long as it had, right? If she was done, he wasn't going to argue, even if he wanted to.

Since her messages, he'd started fidgeting. Pacing, wandering room to room picking things up and setting them back down. He wanted to drive, it was that brand of restlessness that always made him take off for an hour or so, but right now he couldn't - she'd be here any minute, and if she showed up and he was gone, she'd probably be even more upset. Rightfully so. So he couldn't drive, which left fidgeting.

The sound of the door closing, and the quiet sound of Jules' voice sent him out to the front of the apartment, and he probably looked sort of like an over=sized kid, peeking in the room like he expected a scolding, offering a tentative smile like that would maybe dissolve whatever made her upset. He hesitated in the doorway for just a second, then crossed the room to where she was. "Hi."
