"You've seen Guy already?" she blurted, then flushed slightly. Did she sound surprised? Angry? How would he take that and when was she finally going to learn to control her emotions? Then again, wasn't that what the Sheriff had hated the most about her? Then it was well worth it. "And you're uninjured. Can we say the same for him?"
Her eyebrows were lifted, a look of amusement on her face, but in her heart she was worried. If Robin did know she'd died, then Guy would be lucky to still be standing. Especially since he clearly knew that Guy knew where Marian was and really, how guaranteed was her safety? But she was safe, after all, and he was here. Which reminded her... "Wait. Did he bring you here?"
She could thank him. She should. But she likely wouldn't. He didn't deserve to be praised for being a decent human being. In fact, it was about time he learned that trait.
"Would you like anything? I've managed to store some juice, it comes in bottles and cartons here. It's brilliant, Robin, it really is. Things we couldn't even dream of. Djaq would simply be beside herself." All the medical and scientific advancements and her friend wasn't even here to share them with. It was a little sad, really.
