Lois stopped at the door but didn’t turn around at Oliver’s question. “No,” she told him before pushing the doors and heading out. It probably wasn't fair to Oliver, she knew he was grieving and might need a shoulder himself, but Lois knew she couldn't do it. Not yet anyway.
She knew what she needed to. Seeing Chloe’s body had only told her half the story and Lois Lane was never one to ever learn only that much. She needed to know exactly what had happened and trusted that Watchtower might hold the key to seeing how her cousin had died. That was where she was headed and everything else could wait to be dealt with some other time.
