How of all things could this blasted seal bring a Robin from before everything had changed for them both. One that saw him as little more than a traitor and liar. Which, he had to admit both were still very much true. But they'd come to an accord of sorts. There had been bigger concerns. Isabella and then the return of Vaisey. And Gisborne still had no idea how he'd managed that return to form. "I'm well aware of just how much you would like to kill me Hood. You will not have reason however."
The comment about Marian wanting to see him, he decided to let go. There was no sense in complaining about it. Locksley had won her heart and they were wed. Or...at least Marian was. Robin would not have been. He wondered did that count in the eyes of god, and wondered if it did would he care? But Marian would care.
Instead he watched Hood as they walked, looking around him, not saying anything to let Guy know he was thrown by his surroundings but he was. He of course was. No one from their time would not be. The world had changed so much which he supposed was only fair after near on a thousand years. "Not so easy to call me a liar now is it? I could not have done this. Nor the Sheriff, nor Prince John. It's a Holy War, as I said, and this, it seems is its battlefield."
It didn't take them long to reach the road leading to the complex and Guy nodded toward the large imposing looking building. "She's in there, the place is guarded in various ways but we won't be threatened, anyway the rooms are numbered, she's in three hundred and five. I'll take you inside and you can go up to her, you'll forgive me if I decline to witness that reunion."
