And there were even more correlations now about Percy and superheroes. She had been extremely confused when Henry said that Percy was like Batman as she didn't know who that was and that her brother was like Armand. But thankfully he had another comic book and was showing her who these two characters were and wow the similarities were shocking.
"That does sound like Percy. He was a baronet.... everyone in England assumed he and his friends were just going to France for lace and fashion... they had all of us fooled. Chauvelin did not even realize it was him until he showed up as he had been pretending to be a man named Grappin who was helping him in the hunt for the Pimpernel...But the analogy does fit for him and my brother."
Smiling wistfully, Marguerite finished the last of her coffee in thought.
"That is interesting though the way the two seem to relate to one another. So even normal people are able to be superheroes then?"
It was nice to know that. Oh, people always had gossiped about the Pimpernel, fantasized. He was the man people compared others to. She had even told Armand not to idolize Percy, to turn him into some Scarlet Pimpernel. Funny how that was just who Percy was.
"He saved a friend of mine from the theatre, Marie. She was the costume designer and an artist... there were many he saved yet no one knew his name, just that they were saved by the Scarlet Pimpernel."
