Henry scrunched his nose. It was a lot to take in and some of it didn’t make that much sense to him. He didn’t have the life experience to be able to make all of the associations needed to truly understand what had been happening at that point in time. He did know that he wanted to read a little bit more about it, to try and understand it all better. He wondered if Emma would take him to the public library so he could find out more about it.
“Did you save your brother?” he asked, hoping the answer was yes. Losing family was something he could relate to and it was never a good thing. He hoped Marguerite hadn’t experienced the loss of her brother, especially not before having been brought to this place. Though, no matter what it seemed she was separated from those she loved because Henry was pretty sure no one she knew was in this place.
“Do you want to hear about superheroes now?” Maybe it would be a good idea to talk about something a little lighter for awhile? It would for him at least. Not to mention it would allow him to process everything that Marguerite had told him. Which was a lot.
