Henry led the way to the library and sat down at the table, putting his backpack and comic down on it. He wasn’t sure which topic to start with first. Did he tell her all about superheroes first? Or should he let her lead the discussion? He figured ladies first was a good motto and it wasn’t like this would be the only time they’d need to discuss these topics! There was no way Henry would be able to explain everything about superheroes and their lives in under an hour and he doubted a revolution would be explained that amount of time either. Which was fine with Henry as it meant they would probably need to talk again at some point.
“Do you want to start? ‘Cause yours is like history and history is important?” he offered, setting the walkie talkie on the table in case Emma tried to get hold of him.
Not that superheroes weren’t important, especially since they were real, but their history definitely started after Marguerites did. Plus he wanted to know what the revolution had been about even. It wasn’t something he had ever read about before or been taught in school. Nor was it something he would have thought to look up considering how young he was, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t interested in it now.
“Were you in the revolution? Did you have to fight? What was the fighting about?”
