It was definitely important to stay safe even if things were presently calm. Especially for the children who had been pulled through the Seal. Marguerite didn't understand why it would bring children to a war, but war was senseless. Revolutions against a class of people, even killing innocent children. Marguerite's view of the Revolution had gone from one end to the other as it lost its meaning and destroyed families. The ideals she would always stand behind but the path it took? That she could not support. She loved her country, she always would, but that didn't mean she had to always agree with the courses the people took. In war and revolution, protection was important.
Sipping her coffee, the red headed young woman was about circle an ad when she heard a voice. Looking up at the question, she gave a small smile. Ah yes, the boy who was inquisitive and determined, much like Armand had been at his age. Even in the future, such dreams existed. At least there was that.
"That I am. Marguerite. And you are the scholar on superheroes, yes?"
Her voice was light and ever so teasing. After all, scholars were not ten years old. But he did say he'd teach her about them just as she would teach him of the Revolution. She didn't exactly know why someone would want to learn of it but no matter. Perhaps it would be good to talk about it. Perhaps it was something he had to learn of anyway for school. Anything was possible. She didn't know what school was like here but she had seen others mention it on the boards, that it was rather common. Why learn of French history in America, who knew, but Marguerite would go with it.
"The newspaper. I am an actress and was looking to see if there were postings for any auditions. If I am here, I should try to make a life, correct? Would you like to join me or do you have somewhere to be?"
In her grief, Marguerite had kept mostly to herself. Researched what she could. Tried to come to terms with the pain of her loss, but she was also a social creature by nature. It really only was a matter of time before she would branch out more. It wouldn't fill the hole in her heart, but it would help her reclaim the woman who enjoyed life and felt it ought to be lived and not just experienced.
