Jeremy's words threw her off, for more reasons than one. He didn't seem to be quite as naive as she remembered. Perhaps he was from a different point, a point further in the future than the Jeremy she knew. But the other thing that had tripped her up? She had no idea Elena had a boyfriend. The unfortunate downside of having almost no one on her side. "Anakin, right," she muttered inaudibly under her breath. "He's fine... but I'm more interested in you... you're settling in okay, right?"
Even if Jeremy pieced it together and figured out she was not Elena, he had still slipped, he had still given her a small piece of information she wouldn't have otherwise had. Something, no matter how small, she may be able to use for her own gain in the future if the need arose.
