Myka was thankful for the one good thing that had happened because of the Seal while being here. The appearance of Pete the ferret as well as Helena's house as it gave them a safe place to be. Perhaps it was safer for everyone at the complex but it was nice having less people to worry about. Even though Claudia worked security there and Helena had her friends there, Myka preferred the Victorian home. It was more personal and at least she didn't feel so out of place there. Still, it was mostly a sea of confusing and painful, so it was hard to hold onto the good that the Seal could do as well.
Hearing that the Sergievsky girls decided to jump on Anatoly after Svetlana had made good on her promise to throw things at him, Myka just laughed some. She really wasn't all that surprised by this fact. She might not have had all that much interaction with the two but she had seen how they could be while in Paris. And she knew that they had freaked Claudia out because they started speaking in Russian and confused her.
"Of course they did." Smirking, Myka watched as Anatoly took his shot, missing as well. Okay, at least it wasn't her. Still, she had better aim, she should be doing better. But once the balls moved around more and were spread out, it was more difficult. Either way, she set up her shot, taking one and felt better once she got two balls in, letting her set up for another.
"I have a feeling you will always be outnumbered with those three."
Which was pretty amusing to Myka. Oh, she knew he had cheated and defected, because, well, there had been a lot of alcohol induced tirades over the weekend, but it was nice to see that even though he was still making up for that, still making amends, that things could be like a normal family for the Sergievskys. It gave her hope for Helena. To know that she could pull through and be fine if she just worked at it, which she knew the Victorian woman would.
